Mother- Daughter Activity

Madison had I had such a fun evening the other night! Her achievement day leader, Carla Valk put together a darling little Tea Party for the girls and their moms. We decorated hats earlier in the week that we got to wear that night. Madison and I had fun doing that together. When we arrived the girls interviewed their moms with a fun questionnaire. Madison enjoyed learning a couple new things about me. Then we took an etiquette manners quiz. I learned a few things myself! The food was delicious!! I wish I would've taken a picture. Everything looked so pretty. It was just a fun-filled evening! Afterwards she had beads set out so the girls could make a bracelet for their mom . Madison had picked out some pretty beads for me that she had been working on at her last activity.

Jaxton 4 months Old

I can't believe how fast my little guy is growing! It seems like not too long ago I was trying to adjust to the idea that I was even pregnant, let alone having a boy. Oh, how I'm thankful for that little surprise! I can't imagine my life without him.

Oakdale Rodeo Parade

The Marler Family finally ventured out to the annual Oakdale Rodeo Parade this past weekend (it's the first time since we've been married!). Madison and Ashlyn got to participate in the parade through their dance studio. Ashlyn got to ride the float - she smiled and waved the whole way! Madison's jazz group did a dance routine behind the float (FOR THREE MILES!). Needless to say, she was a little tired by the end. It was a beautiful day for a parade, all the kids enjoyed themselves immensely. Now that they've had the experience, I have a feeling we'll be going every year from now on. Who knows, we might even make it to the rodeo next year!

Happy Anniversary!!

Rob and I just celebrated our ten year Anniversary! This is a video he made for me. It was the best gift I could ask for! I absolutley loved it!! The funny thing is I had been working on a video for him as well of the past 10 years together. Needless to say, I didn't finish mine in time. His is a shortened version of of what mine was going to be. Enjoy. . . Great minds think alike. :)
